Welcome from the Principal

Welcome to the web site of The Codrington School

As you visit our school through the wonders of modern technology, we hope that you will share with us the enthusiasm and vitality that mark our community of learners as we seek to bring to the 134 students at our school a modern, inquiry-based, concept-driven curriculum which stands them in good stead to be well-educated, internationally-minded citizens of the 21st century, who embody the learner profile of the International Baccalareate Organization, to whose programmes the school is committed. The profile encourages all members of our community to be:

  • knowledgeable,
  • principled,
  • caring,
  • reflective,
  • balanced,
  • open minded,
  • inquirers,
  • thinkers,
  • communicators,
  • risk-takers.

To these values we are, as a school, committed.

Please feel free to contact us and, if you ever visit our beautiful country, please be sure to pay a visit to our school, whose reputation for liberal, progressive, rigorous education is recognized both within Barbados and in countries far across the seas.
