Participates to some extent in activity but shows little interest and engagement in work. | |

Level 3-4 |
Basic knowledge of theory and some understanding of art terms. |
Basic ability to use skills and principles of art studied. Seldom completes/plans work. |
Has difficulties using feedback and reflections. Produces a self-evaluation, but it is unrealistic or incomplete. |
Participates in activity and shows some self-discipline and motivation in work. | |

Level 5-6 |
Broad understanding of topic and applies theory and terms correctly. |
Shows competence in the ability to use skills and principles of art studied. Often completes/plans work. Work shows some creativity. |
Reflects on themes and issues and takes feedback into account. Provides an evaluation of their development and process that identifies areas of improvement. |
Fully engaged in work, showing a willingness to develop potential further. | |
