PYP4 homeroom teacher
Ashley Fung Fook was born and educated in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She is a graduate of York University, for both her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degrees. A classically trained dancer in ballet, jazz and tap, she is a member of the Royal Academy of Dancing. Ashley brings her passion for the arts into the classroom integrating drama and dance into her curriculum. Ashley has been a teacher in Ontario for several years, with qualifications in Drama, Reading, Science, Religious and Special education. Throughout her career she has collaborated extensively with social workers and child and youth workers to ensure her students with exceptionalities are engaged appropriately. She also believes in the importance of parents taking an active role in their children’s education and has participated in many parent curriculum evenings. She enjoys traveling and in 2008 worked at a school in a suburb of London, England. Ashley is excited to join The Codrington School community and teaching under the IB program. Ashley never misses her weekly yoga and dance classes and enjoys watching movies and reading in her free time. |
