PYP3 homeroom teacher
Cory Greenberg completed her teacher training in Vancouver, B.C. Canada. There she taught the Ministry of British Columbia’s School Curriculum at the Grade Five, and Grade One, Level in Richmond, B.C. Canada. After her Canadian teaching experiences, Cory became an international school teacher. She loves teaching children from diverse backgrounds and also enjoys exploring other cultures and countries. She has taught children in South Korea, Japan and Thailand. In addition, her most recent teaching experience was in China where she taught a PYP curriculum to Grade One students for two years. It was a particularly important experience in her educational life. Cory collaborated on a weekly basis with eight Grade One teachers and gained a deeper understanding of the PYP teaching and learning program. She taught Kindergarten during her Practicum and she is pleased to have the opportunity to teach the PYP to Kindergarteners. Cory notes, “When children are young they are naturally curious and excited about learning. It is very rewarding to watch children progress and to know that I played an important part in the development of their personalities and education.” |
