The Curriculum

The school is following the curricular framework of the Middle Years Programme (MYP) of the IB, having been authorized to offer the programme in August 2010. This framework, shaped as an octagon (shown below), emphasises the holistic nature of the programme, the notion of intercultural awareness and the importance of communication skills.

During the last year of MYP, students complete the MYP 5 Personal Project, a culminating experience that brings together their understanding and development through the Middle Years Programme. Click here to access a slide show about this important project.

Enrichment activities include sports, arts and intellectual pursuits, some of which take place on campus and others of which, such as surfing, take place elsewhere.
